Mobifinder gps detector
Description
Mobifinder is a mobile communication bug detector designed to detect GSM and LTE frequencies. It is an advanced bug detector for identifying active wireless signals. Simply leave it in a location where you suspect there may be an unwanted device for a certain period of time. When you return, you can check the recorded signal times and dates. A signal record will only appear if a signal has actually been detected.
The Mobifinder bug detector can detect unauthorized listening or tracking devices. Radio signals are detected and stored in the device's internal memory. Mobifinder is highly sensitive and can detect even the activation of a mobile phone, switching to another base station, or an active phone call. It has a compact design with built-in antennas, making it easy to carry and use discreetly.

Mobifinder applications
Mobifinder is designed for use in vehicles to detect GPS trackers, but it can also be used indoors to detect GSM and 4G listening devices.
The Mobifinder detector should be left in a vehicle or room for a certain period of time; leaving it for 24 hours is recommended. Since the detector records detected signals in its internal memory, you can check later whether a listening or tracking device was active in the vehicle or room and determine the exact time when the signal was detected.
Mobifinder also responds to tracking device signals in real time, allowing you to detect an active device immediately. Tracking or listening devices may be continuously active or may activate once a day or at other intervals configured by the user.
Setting up and activating the Mobifinder
- Insert the batteries. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the device. Slide the cover to the side and insert the batteries as shown.
- Set the time and date. Press the right button three times until the clock symbol starts flashing. Then press the orange Enter button. The hour indicator will start flashing. Use the right button to set the hour and confirm with the Enter button. The minute indicator will then start flashing. Repeat the same procedure to set the minutes, day and month. Confirm all settings with the Enter button.
- Turn on Mobifinder. Press the left button four times until the speaker symbol starts flashing. Confirm by pressing the orange Enter button. The detector will beep and the red LEDs will flash. The device is now ready to detect mobile phones and other listening or tracking devices when they transmit a signal, indicated by flashing lights and audible alerts.
Signals detected by Mobifinder
The device detects devices operating on GSM networks and some devices operating on 4G (LTE) networks, as the detector covers only part of the 4G frequency range. If a device operates on 3G or another frequency range not listed above, Mobifinder will not detect it.
Where is Mobifinder used?
- Prisons – Mobifinder 5 GSM/LTE can be used in prison environments to help identify unauthorized mobile phone activity by detecting GSM/LTE signals.
- Military areas – security is particularly important in these environments, and GSM/LTE monitoring devices such as Mobifinder 5 can help detect unwanted signals.
- High-security facilities – in addition to military and prison applications, Mobifinder 5 GSM/LTE can also be used in other environments where a high level of security is required.
Which mobile device modes can it detect?
- Mobile phones using GSM 900 (890–915 MHz)
- Mobile phones using GSM 1800 (1710–1785 MHz)
- Mobile phones using LTE 800 (832–862 MHz)
- Mobile phones using LTE 1800 (1710–1785 MHz)
What should you know about Mobifinder?
The LED and LCD indicators are arranged so that detected signals can be clearly identified. The audible alert can be switched off and its volume can be adjusted when necessary. A built-in vibration mechanism allows alerts to be received silently.
Mobifinder® 5 LTE/GSM (2G/4G/5G DSS) is battery powered and can operate for approximately 150 hours in the "ON" mode. The batteries can be replaced without losing stored data.
The device features a "black box" recording function that allows detected signals to be stored together with a time stamp. This makes it possible to record mobile phone activity for later analysis.
How can Mobifinder detect active mobile devices?
- When sending messages
- When receiving messages
- During phone calls
- And through many other types of mobile network activity
